She is known for the lip-sync videos she has posted and her dance videos that are posted on the well-known TikTok page addisonre. Forbes magazine named Addison Rae as the most successful TikToker globally in August 2020. In addition, she is among the most-followed individuals on TikTok. In addition to being a household name in TikTok Addison Rae is also highly popular on other social media platforms like Instagram YouTube and Twitter. In 2021, she made her debut as a singer-songwriter with her first track "Obsessed". The track peaked at number four position on New Zealand Hot Singles Chart and then became the 6th most being watched YouTube video just a day after the release. Addison Rae is also a nominated for prestigious awards ceremonies like those of the People's Choice Awards MTV Movie & TV Awards as well as Kids Choice Awards.
