Dua Lipa, aka Dua English singer and songwriter who was born on the 22nd of August 1995, in London United Kingdom. After a stint as a fashion model her decision was to join Warner Bros Records and release her debut album entitled "Dua Lipa" in 2017. This album reached number 3 on the U.K. Charts and produced eight singles. They included Be the One I.D.G.A.F and the U.K. number one track New Rules as well as the U.K. No. 1 single New Rules. Lipa is the recipient of Brit Awards 2018 for two categories: British Female Artist and British Breakthrough Act. Dua lipa was born the 22nd of August, 1995, in London in the UK to Kosovo Albanian Anesa Rexha, and Dukagjin Lipa. As a result of her maternal grandparents, Dua Lipa is Bosnian. Also, her ancestors come from the Kosovo town Peja. Her grandparents were historians as well. Gjin along with Rina are her twins. The father of Lipa, who was a musician and lead singer from the Kosovan the band Oda has influenced her in a musical way. The family home where Lipa grew up, was one in which her father played music of David Bowie Bob Dylan Radiohead Stereophonics The Police Stereophonics. Lipa started singing at the age of was five years old. In just her ninth year she began singing at Sylvia Young Theater School. She released her first single New Love in August of 2015.
