Alison Krauss

Alison Krauss was born July 23, 1971, in the city of Decatur, Illinois. LeAnne Kymes is also one of two youngest Grammy Award recipients. Alison Maria Krauss (born July 23rd, 1971) is an American bluegrass country singer and musician. She started in the industry as a child, when she was a mere 10 years young. When she was 14, she debuted her solo debut album after signing with Rounder Records. She was then invited to be a part of Alison Krauss Union Station, the band she currently performs with. The first album she released together as a band was released in 1989.
